Behaviour defines specification!?

份私房工要 read 個 hardware o既資料，client 比左份 how to read o既 spec 我，不過跟住用係有 bug 的．．．前前後後改左個 hardware 四次，firmware 一次，到到今次仲係發現問題；個 spec 寫：

Byte X: This byte will return the number of bytes of the packet.

結果 read 番來個數同實際的差左 1 byte，我將個結果話番比個 client 知，今次竟然唔係改 software，而係改個 spec!

Byte X: The byte will return the number of bytes - 1 of the packet.

我想響我個 software guide 度加一句：

This software is working AS IS.
